SYNOPSIS

A sweaty, frustrated romantic getaway to a strange outback campground.

An escalating series of absurd events in an inner-Sydney harbourside mansion.

An uncomfortable fever dream of contradictory logic and minor characters from earlier in the film, set in the Australian bush.

‘Friends and Strangers’ is a modern feature film about Australia, its topographies, people and systems. It was shot over 30 days across New South Wales, and was directed by James Vaughan (You Like It, I Love It - MIFF, Berlinale).
